Leicester City Centre

Reversal of one-way traffic flows causing significant re-location of about 12 bus stops, many into new roads under construction;

  • phased publicity campaign across about 85 city centre bus stops and two disparate bus stations;
  • design of new modular bus shelter flags and stop-specific timetables for all stops affected by the move, over a distance of about a quarter of a mile;
  • slice of later anti-congestion funding spent on major upgrade to the rest of the city centre bus stops;
  • enhancement to include new ‘Where to Board’ citywide wayfinding system.
