Paul Treadwell – Sales & Marketing Director

Paul also heads up our USA operation which he set up with local management in 2002. Paul’s background is in marketing and packaging, having started his career at Unilever, where he worked on many household name brands.

Doug Rose – Managing Director

Doug specializes in all forms of graphic communication, especially typography and all aspects of wayfinding. Privately, he is a transport historian and has self-published major works on the London Underground and has acted as advisor to the London Transport Museum and other publishers. Since 2004 Doug has worked closely with Dr Maxwell Roberts of the University of Essex, where they have engaged in joint projects on human psychology and reasoning, with particular regard to graphic communication and interpretation.

Peter Warman – Transport Consultant

Peter has worked with public transport operators and transport authorities on the development of their systems and services since 1972. He has a well-researched understanding of the requirements of the traveller. A long-term interest has been the development of specifications for travel information systems, including static and real time information and other applications associated with telematics. Peter has worked with FWT since 1992.

Elaine Chambers - Graphic Information Designer

Elaine has over 20 years’ experience in design, specializing in Corporate Identity with Implementation and Information Design. She has worked for Allied International Designers, Addison and Fitch. It was at Fitch, in conjunction with FWT, where Elaine was a key member of the team working on the major re-design of all London Buses public-facing information material, starting in 1992. Elaine has worked with FWT since 2000.

Mike Greenwood - Business Manager for north England and Scotland

Mike is highly experienced in working within the public transport environment. He started work straight from school with Leicester City Transport in 1972 and during an eleven-year span held various roles in all aspects of traffic operation before being appointed Traffic Officer. It was in this position that saw Mike specializing in a publicity and marketing role. Mike also gained his Chartered Institute of Transport qualification whilst at Leicester as well as a full PSV licence which he retains.

Ray Jervis - Business Manager for south England and Wales

Ray worked for 15 years within the Bus Industry at Southend Transport Ltd before coming to FWT. He progressed through from Bus Driver and Operations Controller to Traffic and Commercial Manager, being responsible for recruitment of staff and their on-going management and welfare, including regular trade union negotiation and handling disciplinary matters and management of six Inspectors and six Traffic Officers.
